Next Improv FUNdamentals TRIAL CLASS!: June 26, 2010 at 10am
Improv FUNdamentals is our entry level Improv course. This class is an opportunity to let go, release your inner child, and remember how to have fun. Whether you are brand new to Improv or have previous performance experience, this class is a chance to unleash your ability to play and to discover your spontaneity.
In this class, you'll study basic Improv rules/vocabulary, play games, and rediscover your ability to be silly.
Introduction to Improv is about having fun and discovering your spontaneity. It also begins to address some of the essential skills of Improv, including the following:
- Saying Yes!
- Exercising your confidence, concentration, and spontaneity
- Saying the first thing that comes to mind and not worrying about being clever
- Getting over shyness
- Being present and connected with your partners
- Not worrying about being wrong
- Playing with make-believe objects
Improv FUNdamentals is an ongoing course and even experienced players can often learn something from it! Please note, this class is more about self-discovery and exploration than performance. The last class of each session (every 4th class) will be open to friends and family to show off what we've learned.
A prospective student may pay a $20 trial fee to try out
any drop-in, 4-week, or 8-week class at the first meeting and have no further
commitment unless he/she would like to enroll!
(Trial fee will be applied
against regular class price upon enrollment. First time customers
only.)
If you bring 1 friend, you only pay $15 each, 2 or more and you each come in for $10!

Multiple Guest Discount
The trial fee is usually $20, but if you bring 1 friend, each of you only pays $15. (If you bring 2 or more friends, each of you only pays $10.)
Money Back Guarantee
If you come out to improv for the first time and you don't enjoy yourself, just ask us for your money back after the meeting and it will be refunded promptly!
